Christmas Break!

Christmas Break is from Friday, December 21- Tuesday, January 1.

Classes resume on Wednesday, January 2.

Christmas Concert!

The Christmas Concert is on this Thursday, December 20.

Just a reminder that all the 4K kids need to be here by 5:30 and be dressed in their Sunday best! They sing 4 songs with the 3K and they are doing a fantastic job at practices. They are always singing the songs in the classroom! I can't wait to see how they do at the concert!

Reminders for the Winter Season!

Please remember a few things during this season!

  1. All children need to be bringing their snowpants, boots, hats, mittens, and coats! These things are vital to staying warm for playing outside!
  2. If you have an extra pair of mittens laying around at home, I recommend telling your child to leave them in their backpack. Often times the children will go out for morning recess and their gloves will then be soaking wet for lunch recess and their fingers will get cold. I try to dry them as best as I can after lunch recess but I am not able to dry them after morning recess.
  3. This season being cold and flu season I am trying to catch them in the act of not covering their coughs and sneezes as well as washing their hands after they blow their nose. I try my best but the only way to try and prevent sickness is for them to do this at home and school to attempt to form a habit. Thank you for helping keep your child healthy!!

A change for the new season...

How fast this year is going! I can't believe that it is December already! I can tell a change in pace in the classroom this week! Christmas is coming just around the corner and there is finally a snow that stuck to the ground and those two things both are VERY exciting to the children. We are now switching gears in the classroom and talking about winter. This week we began to talk about Advent and what that means for us as Christians. We have also talked about cookies and snowflakes and the joy of giving during the holiday season!

Nearing the End of First Quarter!

We have been very busy in the classroom as we are approaching the end of the first quarter! We have covered a lot of subjects and facts so far but there is so much more to learn! The children have done some pretty special and fun art projects that I have sent home and I know they are super proud of them! Pictures to come...!
